Prepared for the Worst, Providing the Best |
I've had two fight it so far, both lost. I don't write unjustified tickets, and I always make sure the yellows are on for a reasonable amount of time before the stop arm comes out. Most of our local bus drivers are veterans, and know what they're about. I'll often touch base with them after I stop a car just to get a statement from their point of view, and they know they need to give reasonable warning before the red lights and stop arm go on. I also typically have really good video to back me up, both from the bus and my car. The facts speak for themselves.

State of MO require 500 ft of amber before the stop. Some stops I have to activate the ambers right after picking up the previous stop. ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ
