Been trying to access the Tubinator for several hours throughout the day. For the first few hours I was just getting Gateway Timeout errors, but for the last few hours the error reads:

The website is temporarily unable to service your request as it exceeded resource limit. Please try again later.

Is the problem only on my end or are others getting this error message too?

Not exactly sure if this helps (maybe you're post is a PSA), but YouTube will generate the embed code for you...Actually, it's a piece of cake on YouTube:

- Click -> 'Share' --> Embed

Then 'Copy/Paste' the 'Embed Video code' between FLASH_VIDEO /FLASH_VIDEO using the correct bracketing...Done!

Just be sure to be on the desktop site and not a mobile version to find the embed code.

Bit of both, but thanks for reminding me that there is more than one way to skin a cat.

Followed your instructions to a T, but I'm posting from a phone at the moment, and not getting an embed code.

Ahhh, yeah, trying to embed from a phone and I'm striking out right now on an embed code. Keeps displaying a "Direct Share not available" message, when using the You Tube code.

If on your phone, find the three dots, then check the box for desktop site, and you should be able to get the embed option under "share."

Bald1 jumped in and embedded the video for me, but I went down a rabbit hole on my Android and, with the help of your instructions, finally got it figured out, so thanks for the assist.

Quick update: just checked and it looks like the Tubinator is back up now.

Sorry. I didn’t see this until now. Best to email me. I’m not sure what happened. I’ll have to check the logs.

To add to Balzé’s post if you’re on an ibox product and want to go to the desktop site click on the two upper case “AA” (one is smaller than the other) either on the top left or bottom left depending on your iPhone preferences.

Then just add FLASH_VIDEO after you paste your “share” link and at the end put /FLASH_VIDEO with the brackets [ & ] around both.

And you’re back to posting YouTube videos.
