HRKIt's Been An Interesting Month In The V-Tail Household.
Glad everyone is back to speed, might want to put some of the clotting medication into the ol V-Tail medicine cabinet.
Regarding Taco Bell, if you believe that's where she got sick and it's food poisoning then by all means report the place.
You can do it locally at the county health department or online at the FL Dept of Health

dry-flyI've had that nausea/vomiting/diarrhea combo more than I care to remember. Two of them required ER visits, one of them by ambulance. NASTY stuff. I keep Zofran on hand now, especially on trips. I hope next month is better for y'all!

Your experience with blood loss is very unusual, even taking baby aspirin! ER visits normally address the damages that resulted in blood loss, sometimes not looking at the underlying issue with the clotting mechanism.
If you have not had the bleeding evaluated, I suggest you see a hematologist (a physician who specializes in blood disorders). I do not like to be an alarmist; however I have seen things missed in ER´s, only to be diagnosed later, this during a very long career as a medical technologist.
Stay safe and well!

I had been under the impression that food poisoning involved getting the bad stuff out of the system, from both ends. Interesting that in this incident, it was strictly vomiting. A LOT of vomiting. Enough that we thought that the trip to the ER was necessary. The ER doc concurred.
I swear, she was throwing up stuff that she hadn't even eaten yet.

bendableBetween Bonnie and myself,
I am exhausted, overwhelmed and pretty fed up with medical , health and aging issues and their effects on quality of life.
Our spontaneity is all but totally gone, it was our best, most enjoyed shared attribute as a couple.
Together we can remember 9 things, that insure a good day.
But inevitably, two things will evade both of us.
We were only very rarely frustrated, disappointed or mildly pissed off. Once per year , Topps.
Now its biweekly.
Don't get me started on the physical short comings.
