How much will my quality of life diminish if I don't go in and sit in their expensive Petrie dish seats?

I offered to go if I could find a paper hasmat suit to wear .
That didn't go well.

There is that biological point
Then there is the crazy ass ex- concession manager that got fired for " no good reason"

Who decideds to take out 15 patrons before killing himself
Using his dad's rifle and his mom's pistol.

Even if they paid me to go , I wouldn't accept.

I know all the arguments against theater. BUT, I loved Maverick in the theater, and I WILL see "Devotion" in the theater. . .

If you can catch gonorrhea from a tractor seat.

I think theaters are going to have a rough time (some already are, not having recovered from being shut down due to Covid) going forward, what with modern TVs and home theaters, internet streaming, etc.

^^^^^^^^^^^^ George Carlin is my type of comedian in many ways.. In many ways he was speaking the truth if you would stop and really listen to what he was saying... But in our current state of political correctness they would probably be banned from preforming anywhere they could get to go along with their agendas.... .............. drill sgt.

We’ll go to a movie in a theater rarely. Last one was Maverick. We go to the earliest show possible. We sit in the back row for 2 reasons; I don’t want to hear all the BS from people behind me and I don’t want anyone behind us if the SHTF.
As far as the Petri dish; I don’t worry about that, BUT; we were having dinner at the daughter’s house on a weeknight. The kids all finished quick and went upstairs? Then we did dishes etc. and the kids came back down in their pajamas. They were all going to a friggin movie. In their pjs and on a school night! Are you kidding me? Then coming home and crawling in bed in those pjs??? Insert puke emoji here!

I believe it’s a Seinfeld reference…

"If you’re a leader, you lead the way. Not just on the easy ones; you take the tough ones too…” – MAJ Richard D. Winters (1918-2011), E Company, 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne

"Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil... Therefore, as tongues of fire lick up straw and as dry grass sinks down in the flames, so their roots will decay and their flowers blow away like dust; for they have rejected the law of the Lord Almighty and spurned the word of the Holy One of Israel." - Isaiah 5:20,24

I really can't comment on theaters now. The last movie I saw in a theater was The Fellowship of the Ring... call it 21 years ago.

I would like to apologize to anyone I have *not* offended. Please be patient. I will get to you shortly.
