This type of placard is frequently used in aircraft for labeling switches and various operating controls, specifying operating restrictions, etc.

It's made of a hard material, I guess some sort of plastic, and the back has adhesive.

I'm looking for a source to engrave one to my specification.

SIGforum member Spectre did this type of thing, but he has not been around here for years.

Do any of the current members do this?

I saw where my local UPS store does this (not sure about metal but certainly plastic). Might see if yours does as well.

Merry Christmas sir!

I fear he passed. I haven't had any contact with him (Crawford Reed) since 2017. He was the winner of a 1952 Minox III camera I karma'd the year before. I was made aware of the very serious health problems he was dealing with.

And yes, DannyFXDC's suggestion of a trophy shop is spot on.

I saw him September of 2016 spoke with him sometime in 2017 last. He did have some health problems which may have got the best of him.

Thanks for the responses, everyone.

SigMonkey -- I received your email and yes, that's the type thing I'm looking for.

Chris42 -- I'll be at the location either tomorrow or first part of the coming week. I'll take a couple pictures and send them to you, with a description of what I need.
