...on my phone as I was walking to the shopping center.
Looks like a 7.0 just hit off the coast of Ferndale (about 260 miles north of San Francisco).

I have never seen this type of thing here before. Local news is all over it.
We actually had 3 separate quakes happen today.
Didn’t feel any of them here in the East Bay.

ElToroStay safe my Bay Area CA friends. Be wary of those brick buildings in the older parts of town. Good reminder to check your preps. And if you are able, your grab and go bag for your office and or car
When I lived in Livermore for almost 20 years I always felt weird having dinner in any of the neat old buildings downtown that almost were all late 1800’s vintage and brick.
At least we get a full week notice of hurricanes here.

Instead everything east of the San Andreas will slip into the Atlantic.
