Starting on Thursday 8/4 at 10:45AM and running until Friday 8/5 1:45AM TCM will be playing a marathon of some of Lon Chaney SR.'s greatest silent movies. If you've never seen a Lon Chaney SR. movie, do yourself a favor and watch "the man of a thousand faces", as his movies were the masterpieces of the macabre during the silent movie era. His most famous film was Phantom of the Opera - 1925 (which will be shown during the marathon), but there are a number of other dark gems that will also be shown during the marathon.
