Cornyn has confirmed what we all know, and this shit needs to follow him everywhere he goes, for the rest of his life. I mean that. Until the end of his days, he needs to be reminded all the time what he did and said. Every public appearance of any sort.

Only things that is "close" are polls, specifically designed to gaslight Texas voters to thinking Talarico is a superior candidate and is leading in public opinion.

Paxton, with similar numbers to Gov. Abbott, has a history of stomping his opponents in elections, his latest was against Cornyn. Abbott beat Beto O'Rourke by a large margin in 2022, and O'Rourke was a much more viable candidate than the weirdo in hiding. Unlike O'Rourke, I see no Talarico bumper stickers, lawn signs, NOTHING, in the DFW area. The guy is being propped up by false hype and and from my perch, is nowhere near O'Rourke's popularity.

Fair enough. The only poll that matters is the one taken on election day.
I know you will vote.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

He was my senator for years when I lived in far East Dallas. My neighborhood went from mostly old retired white people and some Vietnamese to almost all hispanic in a startling short period of time when it became clear our government had just decided there wasn’t going to be any more enforcement in the 90s. He and others always talked out of one side of their mouth to constituents but voted the other. I remember writing him and Kay Baby Huthchinson that if I had wanted to move to Mexico I would have, but I had “de facto” without my consent. Asshole.

Sadly, I did vote for that shitstain Cornholio once. The first time he was running against DemonRAT Ron Kirk. Since then, I've voted against him in every primary and left that race blank in the general. Could never bring myself to vote for him again. Since he was curb stomped by Paxton, he's shown himself to be the small, petty, bitter man I always thought he was.
