Jesu Christo and Santa Maria, man!

We men never, ever mention the idea of MARITAL law!!

It would be ECONOMICALLY devestating, as we'd likely never get to by airplanes, boats, cars, firearms, motorcycles, or any of the other devices we use to offset the tribulations of life.

We might even < gasp > be forced to go shopping with our spouses after the weeks- to months-long stay in pugatory quarantine prison mandatory voluntary isolation.

Did you not read the waiver?

That's a blast from the past. I've got his first album somewhere. I'll have to look now.

To the rooftops!

Vote with vigor!

Wait. Whut?

One of my daughters ex boyfriends is hitting me up every day about 'martial law' conspiracy theories and every sighting of military vehicles anywhere in the country on his part leads to an explosion of texts on my phone with 3-4 levels of Trump is Hitler incarnate.

Did I mention he is an ex-boyfriend?

The National Guard - if called up - is there to help. Their mission is declared, defined and purposeful. If I see them, I will respect their mission because the Governor has seen fit to activate them to help. In every major disaster I have seen in my lifetime - the arrival of the National Guard was a REALLY GOOD THING.

If someone has a problem with that, I would suggest working on replacing that governor.

In the event they are EVER given un-Constitutional orders and actively move to violate the Constitution as a result, they will wish they had chosen a different vocation.

I suspect many will refuse those orders. Those that don't will quickly realize they should have.

Support your National Guard, State Police and County and Municipal Officers.

We have enough panic already without this alarmist fear-mongering.

Those Guardsmen don't want to be out there. But they NEED to be. And that's why they do what they do.

Make them feel good about it if you can.

There is much more to “martial” law than National Guard soldiers on the streets.
As I have observed about many times before, if we’re going to get spun up about something, we should first understand what it is we’re getting spun up about.

You mean like you are not allowed to leave your house under penalty? Unless of course you are in an essential business like oh I don't know maybe "the media"

You mean like government decides what business are allowed to be open? How many people you are allowed to talk to?

Maybe like when your POS governor actually comes out and says "We're going to tighten the screws further".

Things like that?

It's still not martial law

What do you call violating several sections of the Constitution, by executive fiat?

I call it: 'violating several sections of the Constitution, by executive fiat.'

I don't call it 'Martial Law', because it isn't.
