Arabiancowboy:

I handled the Bren2 in 308 and it was awesome, but selectfire. The guy I talked to said to keep eyes open but semi auto only ones didn’t have an available date at this time.

Palmetto Armory

MP5 still having bugs worked out. Maybe late 2020

New pistol uses Magpul G19 mags. Talked with the designer for about 30 mins. Spent a lot of time working hot spots out of the grip and getting the grip texture they wanted. Every part inside is Gen 3 except locking block and rear rails. Out by April/May. Basic pistol under 300 dollars. RMR cut with threaded barrel mid 300’s. Next step G17 slide on same frame. Trigger is wide and flat with a decent break.

Magpul yes on 50 rd drums. Body was made too short to fit in pistols intentionally. Said problems with pistol mag releases handling the weight might have factored in to that decision.

Ruger carbine Backpacker stock made and shipping fall 2020.

Cimarron Arms

ATF just gave clearance for the S&W American so they are looking at late summer availability. 45 Colt first and then 44 special. None on hand for pics. Newer Peacemaker at 500 dollar price range with nickel back strap.

Walther

PPQ SF 9mm for now. Optics ready has a plate with rear sight blade. SD/combat with threaded barrel around summer. No M1 variant expected but possibly a 40 cal 5 in for competition.

Cool things upcoming are a new flat trigger and flatter/thinner grips that remove the palm swells and rear hump. Great feel! Also extended mag release and mag well.

Revolutionary Roller Locks

Really working on making MP5 viable for optics and accessories in the 21st century. Modular rail systems, universal red dot mounting plate, multiple stock options, integrally suppressed options, and multiple calibers. 9mm current for MP5 and has 556 options for rifle.

For you 10mm fans, their engineer said if anyone provided the necessary flats for the receiver, they could make a 10mm version with a minimum order of 5.

New bolt action pistol in 308. Comes with a kit and 20 inch barrel to turn it into a rifle. Around 1400 for whole kit.

Thanks for the Shot Show reporting and photos, nice work!

If you’re attending the final day of the show & haven’t stopped by Brugger & Thomet, could you inquire as to the status of the USW-P pistol?

Dakor

There are 2 more days and B&T is on my list. They have 2 booths and I have only been to the law enforcement sales booth so far.

Should hit the commercial sales tomorrow and have that update by tomorrow night with pics.

Sig

No M18 commemorative for now
Unknown if 226 XFives will be made in US
210 carry ship date in June/July
No 938 steel frame
Maybe a 320 10mm in the future if there is enough interest/orders
Sig cross longer barrels coming separately to change out with your shorter barrel and possibly coming from factory with the longer barrel in the future

My bad regarding the show schedule. I/we greatly appreciate your footwork and sleuthing.

It’s too bad about the Sig 938 not being made in an all-steel format and the X5 series non-manufacture in the U.S. Some years ago during Shot, Sig mentioned both of these actions were in the works, but the writing is on the wall.

BTW, your picture of the P210 Carry is the best picture anywhere of that pistol - including those from online gun blogs and magazines.

Thank you for the update, I’ve heard great things about that rifle but I guess I will have to wait. Hopefully it is eventually released to the civilian market in a semi auto configuration.

Thanks guys!

If you want a closeup pic on something, let me know. Should complete one full sweep of the show today and then start going back to interesting booths for second looks.

BTW, what were the bugs in the Palmetto State Armory MP5 clone?

Can you swing by the MDT (Modular Driven Technologies) booth and ask them when we can expect the first batch of JAE-100's out and if they incorporated any changes? Same for the JAE-700.
