So - it's up to you to survive and repopulate and recreate civilization.

My wife is done with child bearing, so I might have to rely on the younger folks to do the repopulating...Not sure what it'd be like to be trapped in a shelter with a dozen young women anyway.

I'd probably want one or two of the survivor types that are handy with woodsy stuff and shelters. We'd need a hunter or two.

Then what ? Science type ? A few engineers (if you can find some that are tolerable :-) )

A mechanic ? Electrician ? What else ?

Don’t have one, just plan on roaming the earth kinda like the main character in The Book of Eli.

I think I might add a good carpenter with his saws and tools and such.

She'd have to be a really smart hooker...

I always said I wanted to be at ground zero in the event of a world as we know it ending SHTF happens. So, I might be inclined to give up my spot to someone younger, strong and healthy. But honestly I am not sure I know anyone that fits that description AND is actually smart enough and has the skills to survive if they had to go all cave man survivor time.

General Buck Turgidson: Doctor, you mentioned the ratio of ten women to each man. Now, wouldn't that necessitate the abandonment of the so-called monogamous sexual relationship, I mean, as far as men were concerned?

Dr. Strangelove: Regrettably, yes. But it is, you know, a sacrifice required for the future of the human race. I hasten to add that since each man will be required to do prodigious... service along these lines, the women will have to be selected for their sexual characteristics which will have to be of a highly stimulating nature.

Ambassador de Sadesky: I must confess, you have an astonishingly good idea there, Doctor.
