Jeep experts. Thoughts on something like this.
Still thinking of getting a decent or better Rubicon. I know this year has the 3.8L motor. But from my research it is a solid power plant. Allbeit some underpowered. But in this kind of a rig that will not be a big issue for me. Not sure if in this year a Rubicon has the upgraded axles and rearend mentioned in another thread. I have not asked about a carfax but if considering purchasing I would to see maintenance history and where it has been. Say's one owner which is saying something for a Jeep. Thoughts Plz.

Very low mileage, given its age.

End of Earth: 2 Miles
Upper Peninsula: 4 Miles

Looks like it was used for a business or .gov capacity with the CB/Radio mount in the passenger footwell as well as the holes drilled in the passenger quarter panel for the antenna.

Any questions in particular? any year in particular isn't going to matter much with these the aftermarket has solved any potential issues.

Looks good, but crawl around underneath to look for any rust spots or bent metal. Also you can run the VIN iseecars to get a copy of the original build sheet equipment. I ran it and it looks correct with what the photos show. It was built as a RUBICON, so has the beefed up axles and 4.10 gears standard. So it is capable out of the box.

It did show FLEET sales on the build, so could mean was government contract or rental maybe. But also could be nothing and just how a dealership bulk orders cars.

Great price for the low miles. Biggest things with JEEPS and any solid front axle 4x4 is "Death Wobble", look it up and familiarize yourself with it so there is no surprise if/when it happens. Scary as shit the first time, but easy to get out of when you know what to do.

There are all kinds of thoughts on this, but suspension being loose is the jist of it. A good new steering stabilizer can head it off, but just check suspension and know what to expect if it happens.

Not trying to scare you off from it, but just trying to inform, as it has happened to me. First time it happened to me, was my Grand Cherokee But experienced it in a friends Jeep wrangles as well. Mu 04' Wrangler has not done it in the 73K miles on mine. But it is tough to get up to 60 mph also. Big Grin does not happen when it is slow, just highway speed, which is the OH SHIT part of it.

It's all about clean living. Just do the right thing, and karma will help with the rest.

The dealer has some rough reviews online. My thought was the mileage might be rolled back
