They closed out Virginia, whom I was rooting for from regionals. I'll likely catch some of the game today as well...

WOW! My mom told me about the LA Little League team playing yesterday, but I didn't think it was for all the marbles. Congrats to those boys and the team!!

Not sure, but I'm thinking every moment of this tournament will be etched in those kids minds forever. They accomplished something that very few people have. I would love to attend their class reunion 20 years from now. Congrats to every one of them!

They were the U dogs. Drew Breese, met with them and gave them a great pep talk when they started their endeavor.

The infielders and catcher are pretty tall, but the rest of them look about right.

Well they are now the WORLD CHAMPIONS 2019 !!! beating Curacao 8-0, great pitching, outstanding hitting, great defense by these boys. Although they had to beat the Maui, Hawaii Team (Maui No Ka Oi) whom I was rooting for 9-5 to win the U.S. National Championship, but its ok...we (Oahu, Hawaii) won it all last year (WORLD CHAMPIONS 2018) beating Japan 3-0, but Maui was sooo close to getting to the WC game.

CONGRATULATIONS RIVER RIDGE LOUISIANA TEAM!!!

Curacao team was no slouch...as they defeated both S. Korea & Japan both very tough teams to win the International Championship title.
