Well that makes sense...I watered today since it is very dry and the neighbors will lose more of their trees.

I saved you on my desktop. I'll be watching from Northern East Baton Rouge Parish.

Hopefully the predictions stay true that it'll be a weaker hurricane that's fast moving, not a strong, lingering one like Harvey.

Stay safe, my friends.

Despite the strength, if it drops a large amount of rain on NO, it will be a mess; the pump system is still very flawed- my BIL lives there, and the streets flood frequently during regular old rain.

Ugh. I hate riding my bike in the wind. People hare aren't even batting an eye. Hurricane coverage fatigue I guess.

Would it be bad if i hoped for direct hit on Foley AL?

I'm sure there's an ex there who'll understand.

They're saying it will only be a Cat 1 when it makes landfall. I hope they're right. The Gulf is a bathtub right now. If the upper level winds don't keep it under control, it could probably fire up to Cat 3 pretty easily.

Sorry, no. Not this time, thanks. When Nate comes knocking, we simply won't let him in.

Gulf temps are high but there is a lot of cool dry air to the west. might not even become a hurricane.

We joke about Cantore showing up if it’s gonna be a bad storm.
