Odometer / Carfax question
I'd still pass on the car, even if it turns out the odometer is correct and Carfax has a couple erroneous numbers from before.

Reason being, when your daughter's done with the car and wants to sell it/trade it in, this issue will still be in Carfax's database, and will complicate that future transaction.

In the weeds, a couple of concerns about the car itself, independently of any Carfax/odometer issues:
a) two oil changes within a month (Apr 28, May 31) - what's with that?
b) it would seem that the car was sold twice within four months - whoever bought it this April (and did the two oil changes in a month) is dumping it....Hmmm....

The make a couple million cars a year...I bet there's a good one out there waiting for your daughter.

I'd pass per joel9507. The oil was changed not 2 but 3 times in 33 days, for whatever reason. Maybe Take5 screwed something up the 1st time, like stripped the drain plug. If the Carfax is weird in any way I skip it.

I'd be taking a pass on that car. Changing hands so frequently and the potential of being a "flood" car would concern me.

Regardless of what the miles really are, you will own this report if you purchase. So if you try to sell the car, others will see similar issues on the report…and you have inherited the issue and may not be able to sell easily.
