At least that or something similar is what I’d expect to hear for the second half of that sentence. But not if the speaker is Obama. On my way home from work I turned the radio on just in time to hear Obama speaking to a group- I think younger people, but I missed the beginning— and he said:
“If something needs fixing, lace up your shoes and do some organizing.”
I guess that’s a pretty good example of the difference between the left and the right.

If something needs fixing, convince a bunch of people to complain to City Hall so they will tax people who did not contribute to the problem to pay money for an ineffective program that, more than likely, will only make things worse.
Rinse and repeat.
