Some pretty good deals today, especially on the Fuel set which includes drill and circular.

Thanks, was hoping for some M18 bare tools, though.

My impact driver has crapped out on me. Going to pick up the hacksaw driver combo. No need for the hacksaw, but the price is like getting it for free.

The trigger is bad on my current one, brakes don't work and light stays on until I remove the battery. Tired of overtightening things and removing batteries. Hopefully with a new one in hand I can order new switch and keep current on as a backup.

Thanks for the heads up.

EDIT sold out.

Look at it on a positive note: if you weren’t part of this forum, you would’ve spent more not knowing about sales Big Grin

Yeah, bare tools are great for those of us who already have a stable of M18 stuff, complete with chargers and batteries from multiple kits. But look at it this way - if there's something on sale for 40% that you need and it's only offered in a kit, you're at least getting another charger and battery for free.

I happen to have had the M18 Sawzall on my list, so I'm glad to pick it up for a mere $179. Pretty great.

I was going to post a link this morning but work got in the way. If you don’t have the $ today don’t worry. They have these on sale at least once a month although it may be different tools. Usually around Black Friday they have a lot of Milwaukee close to half off. I’ve been building my collection over the last three years. Still need the recip, circular saws and the soldering iron,

Not today Sigforum... you are not spending my money again today...

...only because the thing I have been wanting to add to my collection is sold out already...

I have had amazing luck with Milwaukee service both times I have used them. I drop the tool off at an authorized seller / repair dealer, a local lumber yard, and they pack and ship them back to Milwaukee for repair. I sent an impact driver, out of warranty, and it came back in less than two weeks repaired for free, including shipping both ways. I also sent in a 3/8 cordless hammer/driver/drill, out of warranty by a few months, and they replaced everything inside the case except the gearbox. Switch, circuit board and the motor... less then 2 weeks turn around, no charge... $0.00! YMMV.

I can't send it off or drop it off, that's my problem, most used tool for work. I have one with failing motor, I might just take that one apart and see how easy it would be to swap switches.

Just left home Depot, they can't honor the online price in store. Sucks, I wish I had just bought it when I stuck it in my cart. Guess someone else was faster at entering their credit card numbers.

I can’t believe how low the prices have dropped. About 5 years ago I paid $200 for just the M18 Sawzall without a battery or charger.

^^^ That’s because 5 years ago Milwaukee was killing DeWalt. Since then, DeWalt has stepped their game up. My company even switched from Milwaukee to DeWalt a few years ago.

Try international tool for a 2850 impact driver. I have one and prefer it to the three speed version. The trigger on the 2850 is variable speed.

And when you truly get deeply invested in the Milwaukee platform, get yourself one of these. Been the best 'Red' purchase I've made in quite some time.

That is a sequential charger, and is not the rapid model either. To give you an idea, 6x 8 amp hour batteries would take over 10 hours to change from 25%, or it would take 16 hours to change 6x 12 amp hour batteries from 25%. You are better off building a power tower with a 6 plug power strip and re-use your existing chargers.

'Or' you use it as I do. I don't have a single battery over 4 amp hour. Most are 2.5 amp hour. (I prefer the lighter weight over the extended run time.) Throw all four of them (or so) on the charger at the end of the day, and all of them are ready to go in the morning. No need to load/unload a group of single chargers. 'If' you need to top up larger amp hour batteries, you always have a couple single chargers from kit purchases (in addition to this charger) to fall back on.

I have a mix from 2.5 to a couple 5.0 to a 12.0. I would like to get a 8.0 HO one day. I have also been perusing the Facebook marketplace for Milwaukee. Bought the 12.0 from a pawnshop for $120 and M12 impact on Facebook marketplace shipped for $90. That was a good price at that time.
