Relief Factor users?
Seems like every time I turn on the TV that Relief Factor commercial is on.
Anyone use it?

Fell in March and twisted my knee. Tore some cartilage but not bad enough for surgery...yet.
Have nagging pain in the back of my knee. Can only take so many aleve.

No experience with that, but I use Biofreeze gel to supplement NSAIDs and ice for my nagging knee injury/arthritis. https://biofreeze.com/

It's available off the shelf at places like Amazon/Walmart/Walgreens/CVS/etc. (In addition to gel, they also offer spray and roll-on.)

It's basically Icy-Hot, without the hot. Rub it on the area that hurts, and the tingling/cooling sensation helps mask the pain for a bit.

I mainly use it when my aching knee is keeping me from falling asleep.

Recently twisted my knee, getting out of bed of all things, couldn't raise my leg to dressed or get in bed, lots of pain. Used all the rubs, even some CBD rub with minor relief. I injured it pretty good.

My Chiropractor has a small medical laser, waited a week to see if I would heal and it wasn't getting better. I believe it's called MLS laser therapy, well known and used for sports injuries.

Called him and got in, a quick treatment with it and in 24 hours the majority of the pain was gone and I had probably 80 to 90% mobility back.

Went back for a follow up as I still had soreness and movement limits, and it cleared it up to about 95%.

Yesterday got another treatment and its 99%, a significant improvement, can walk, climb stairs, sit without pain.

Its worth looking into, it's certainly helped me. There is a lot of science that goes into it and what it can help patients with pain and recovery.

Plus, no needles or knives

Never used and don't know exactly what is in it but you might want to consider a Diclofenac Sodium Topical Gel 1%.
It works the same as Aleve but benefits it is local to the area, won't raise your BP like Aleve and is available as prescription generally but I think you can get it over the counter too.
I use Cipla brand but I see from a search it is widely available in other brands.
Used it on my sprained ankle as recommended by by doc after complaining of the a BP spike.
YMMV

Yep, Diclofenac is available OTC in 1% form, as of a few years ago. It used to be Rx only, even in 1% strength.

The brand name version is Voltaren, but it's also available at most pharmacies/grocery stores in generic form. (Like Advil vs. generic ibuprofen.)

I've used it before for knee arthritis and it does work as well as oral ibuprofen, plus since it's a topical NSAID it has some potential benefits over oral NSAIDs as noted. Just don't take both at the same time, similar to how you shouldn't take two oral NSAIDs at the same time.

One of the people in our house has rheumatoid arthritis. Voltaren helps a lot when needed.

Had to look up Relief Factor to see what it is.

Looks like another snake oil product.

Do you have facts?
If you make a claim you should back it up.

I can help him out. Notice the "* These statements have not..." That translates to "All of what we say this does is bullshit."

The body was meant to heal, but not without Relief Factor! Crock of shit advertising. That's just my opinion of course.

Might be splitting hairs but Flash_LB only said "looks like..." which needs no back up of fact as it's only an opinion based on reading the hype.

Me, whenever I see products being advertised to death it makes me skeptical. My thinking is if the product is THAT GOOD, people would be standing in line to buy based on word of mouth and/or doctors recommendations. If you look at the ingredients seems like omega 3, folic acid, Turmeric and Resveratrol is what's in there. All of these are legitimate useful supplements, so it's not exactly snake oil, but still it may or may not live up to the claims. If it works, and you don't mind paying the price, go for it.

From a different perspective… Infomercials

They must be selling enough of that shit to keep paying for the ads. Infomercials that aren’t successful don’t persist.

Doesn’t generally mean anything about efficacy of the product.

^^^ LOL on that assumption, one that "looks like" I am bullshitting cuz I don't know. Eek

But I would tend to agree that over-marketed products should raise a concern.

Never was supporting the product.
However, I never have appreciated blind criticism (of anything).

Found this on YT.

It does appear that it is more of a marketing strategy more than a useful product.

Can’t really prove a negative. Relief factor needs to prove it works. It has no proof. At least no verifiable peer reviewed data.

And you need to learn the difference between a fact and an opinion. I said it looks like another snake oil product. That's an opinion.
