I will second that. If anything they have been remiss in the past of doing simple due dilligence in their hiring.

There are several alternatives and they all suck in some way. If mindgeek was smart they would pay whatever it takes to get hub.com and have a real run at YouTube. Most if not all of the content creators on YouTube hate it, it wouldn't be hard to entice some of the larger names over.

I'm not sure if this was his point, but I know the scouts still encourage the shooting sports. Some of the older scouts are even interested in building an AR15 from parts. It's difficult to send them to a porn site to learn how to build their rifles.

Someone needs to set up a YouTube type platform specifically for firearm related videos and that will end that. YouTube can show all the tide pod eating, setting oneself on fire, stupid falls, and SJW meltdowns that they want.

^ And then all of us need to not only visit that site, but we need to do a search for it on Google every time we go there. Let those assholes see how much revenue they threw away.

YouTube just announced their new policies only a few days ago. I don't believe anyone has been banned because of those new policies. Inrangetv's move to PH has made national and international headlines. No one wants to leave YT but rather made it clear that "necessity is the mother of invention". You can do anything with money. Who knows, gunhub.com may become a thing.

With an estimated 1 BILLION unique visitors per month YouTube dwarfs every other hosting site. Good or bad, traffic equals exposure and money for content creators.

I'm going to assume that list is deliberately excluding pornographic websites like Pornhub, considering Pornhub reportedly receives 28.5 billion visitors per year. That's about 2.4 billion visitors per month, compared to Youtube's reported 1 billion per month.

(Though it may come down to that site's definition of "unique visitors". Pornhub's statistics don't define "visitors" either.)
