This, a 455 with a quadrajet! This engine develops a lot of torque. I really baby the car but if you get on it hard it is sideways.
More beautifully made carbs. A friends brother was hooked on English made sports cars and learned the ins and outs of tuning multiple carbs, which many mechanics wouldn't work on. I actually never gave thought to a BMW having carbs.quote:Originally posted by smschulz:

A lifetime or two ago I was a factory trained mechanic working for the Triumph/BSA West Coast distributor. Makes wrenching and parts easy; I only need to know how to fix one kind of bike.
