I fell out of a moving car when I was 17 and broke 4 ribs plus a a bunch of stitches in my mouth. Everyone talks about drinking and driving being unsafe - sometimes drinking and riding shotgun can be dangerous too.....

What are the odds you'd be posting at all if not for the helmet? Glad you wore it.
Never had broken ribs, but did some damage to the tissue between a couple once. Unreal how much and how long that hurt.

Get some stool softeners if you are on prescription pain meds.
