My son is a 1st Lieutenant in the Army. He transferred from Ft Hood, Bradley Platoon Leader, to Ft Benning, Infantry Training Company XO, in January.
I was honored to give him his first NCO salute at his commissioning ceremony as well as pinning his jump wings on him when he graduated US Army Airborne school.

I would love to enter this karma. Thank you for your kind generosity.
Me - Army National Guard, Army, and US Army Reserves. 1983-1993. Enlisted in the Guard after graduating high school to help pay for college tuition and after taking ROTC classes my first year I applied for and was awarded a 3 year ROTC scholarship. Ended up attending Chemical Officer Basic and was a platoon leader, maintenance officer and NBC officer.
Family members, too numerous to list all - lost one of my mother's brothers on Iwo Jima (USMC), 2 other uncles in WWII and Korea in the navy and great, great...grandfather and his brother served in the Revolutionary War and are on the muster rolls at Valley Forge - they served in the 8th Virginia (Capt Jonathan Clark - older brother of George Rogers Clark). Also had numerous relatives who all fought in Alabama regiments for the confederacy in the Civil War.

Count me in. Entire military family here. The wife and I were both Weapons Tech's in the Navy, which is where we met. I served on the USS JFK back in the 80's. We met at Colts Neck Weapons Station, NJ. Still married 32 years later. Our sons are both Marines, deployed and came back safely.
Thank you.
Because son, it is what you are supposed to do.

In on behalf of my father. He's a Vietnam Vet of the early years. He was an M60 gunner for his company. I am grateful that he made it through his time in service and was able to raise his sons. He is impressed at how far the AR-15 had come. I'd love to be able to outfit this one for him.
Thank you for the chance and for your continued generosity.

Very generous karma. Don't include me, I'm not active duty at this time and this should go to the current defenders of our shores. I appreciate all they do.
Men fight for liberty and win it with hard knocks. Their children, brought up easy, let it slip away again, poor fools. And their grandchildren are once more slaves.
