PCWyomingPlease add me.
I have a nephew in the Army.
His team made a parachute jump somewhere in Montana. The wind came up and he ended on the roof of the local Walmart instead of the drop zone.
The manager let him off the roof and, according to him, you should have seen the look on people's faces as he walked through the store to the front door. All with his full combat gear on.....

Rey HRHNow that I moved to a free state, you bet your ditty bag this ex-sailor would like in on this karma.
I'm not one to tell sea stories but here's a couple:
One Christmas in port, I decorated myself with red and yellow tags from my head to my knees. The red tags were lock out tags, I forget what the yellow tags were for. Me and a couple of other sailors went throughout our engineroom to the different spaces and greeted people Merry Christmas.
We had a small Puerto Rican guy who went out on liberty call to get a tattoo. His name was Herb and he wanted a tattoo on his shoulder that said, "Herb Superb." It was suppose to be a double meaning as well. In the morning, he found out his tattoo said, "Herb Supeb." One thing about him though, as small as he was, he wanted to go to SEAL training. He would do runs with his full backpack filled with sand. Our Chief finally sent him off to SEAL training.
"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

BeancookerPlease add me (for my stepdaughter). She was just stating that since moving here to the Great State of Arizona from New Jersey, that she needs an AR. She is USAF 2005-2014. She is a smaller woman, and worked as a turbine engine mechanic. I just recently found out that she has worked on the engine for the A-10. I thought that was pretty cool.

old dinoAmazing karma for Memorial Day honoring our veterans !
Please include me. I was Coast Guard 1975-1979, my dad Navy on a heavy cruiser in the South Pacific during WW2, my uncle Army in North Africa during WW2.
My daughter worked for years on building our family tree back to the year 1540 (yes, 1540 ... not a typo) on my father's side. As a result, both of my daughters are members of the "Daughters of the American Revolution".
We come from a long line of veterans.
Thank you again for this opportunity and remembrance on this Memorial Day.
