WOW! This is a helluva deal…

https://www.homedepot.com/p/RY...PBLCK33K2N/317325265

BRUSHLESS Drill, Impact Driver, Reciprocating saw, and two batteries for $141.

Just ordered.

I was in store yesterday and got the “higher” deal, three batteries (6ah, 4ah, 2ah) with charger for $199 and the brushless stick vac (reg $199) for free.

Surprisingly, I still got my veteran discount on top of the savings as well.

Also, for those that haven’t seen my Ryobi Days posts in the past, a little trick if you don’t need more batteries…

You can return JUST the batteries, and get the “free” tool at a discounted price. They split the discount across the batteries and tool.

Example, get the $99 batteries and a $99 charger and it is actually rung up as $49.50 for each.

Return the batteries for $49.50 and you just got that tool at half price.

So it turns out the reason I never noticed a distinction between "HP" and "non-HP" Ryobi 18V One+ batteries is that every single one of my batteries that I've accumulated over the past 5-6 years are all HP batteries.

As a result, I never realized that there was such a thing as a "Non-High-Performance" Ryobi battery. Big Grin

Perhaps it's something new that they've recently rolled out to keep costs down and maintain their lower price point? A budget line of batteries, if you will?

I’ve kinda gone crazy at HD this week. I’m a big fan of the Ryobi One+ and 40v tools.

After today’s one day tool combo special, here is my haul for the week…

Today only deal on 18v Brushless drill, impact driver, reciprocating saw, batteries ($127 after veteran discount)

40v 14” Chainsaw w/4ah battery and charger ($255 after veteran discount)

40v 190mph/730cfm blower with two 4ah batteries and charger ($242 after veteran discount)

$199 battery deal with free Brushless Stick Vacuum ($179 after veteran discount)

$99 18v battery deal with “free” 3/8” ratchet tool ($50 for tool after returning batteries)

$99 18v battery deal with “free” 3/8” impact wrench ($50 for tool after returning batteries)

18v Hand vac with powered brush head ($71 after veteran discount)

Just shy of $850 before tax. But wait!…

The 40v blower is replacing an older lower powered one with a broken and repaired handle. I expect to get about $50-60 for it at an up coming garage sale with old battery and charger

The Hand vac is replacing an older model I have already sold for $30

Just sold a smaller 18v blower that I wasn’t using for $40

The tool combo upgrades my current drill and impact driver to brushless, should be able sell the current ones for about $40-50 at GS. Also should be able to sell my current (but well used) brushless reciprocal saw for another $60 or so.

I may end up keeping one new set of batteries and charger to have batts/charger to include with GS selling of old stuff. I’ll keep the new batteries and off load some of my well used ones.

Selling off the old stuff, I should get about $225-$250 so a net of roughly $675 for serious upgrades as well as some new stuff.

Yup, and free shipping. “One free tool per order” though, but if you want more sets, just make multiple orders.
