Our school district is implementing new health curriculum and it’s all left wing LGBT propaganda.

I’m compiling info on the groups that came up with the material to show political bias.

There was an open house on Tuesday and it was not pretty. Lots of angry parents.

Here's some of the drivel I saw at the open house that they want to shove down our kids throats...

Here are some of the groups I want to research:
Advocates for Youth
Amaze.org
GLSEN

I want to show up on the next public hearing and basically show that all of the "health curriculum" is nothing more than leftist political propaganda and have proof that these groups donate to leftist groups. I'm already researching the authors of the books.

Tony, you're a bad person with your trying to hinder our children's indoctrination.... [/sarcasm]

I am glad I live in rural eastern Oregon as we don't have too much of this kind of crap in our schools here, but I know it is soon coming.

Thank you for being vigilant in trying to help ensure our youth actually are taught to think for themselves.

I don't think elementary school children should be taught about sexual orientation as most of them wouldn't understand all of the propaganda that is forced on them anyway. Let our kids be kids.

My oldest would get anxious if he didn't know where we were going, and I would tell him to just be a kid and let the adults get us to our destination and he might even have a good time. This worked well as he allowed himself to relax.

I feel the school system is teaching our children to be victims and sheep and not to think or stand up for themselves.

"Finn" and "dad" need to both have their asses stomped for disrespecting their elders.

Home schooling is THE single best thing I have ever done for my children. I can't encourage everyone here enough to seriously look into it.

Do you hug people you don't want to?

I doubt it.

Kids should not be forced into physical contact with anyone. Unless we're grooming them to be molested by authority figures. Uncles, coaches, priests.. etc.

We all get to decide who touches us. It is not disrespectful.

No means no, unless it's an elder, then you just lie back and think of England.

Pretty sure it's not the schools job to teach how your kids should interact with your family... Nor should they be telling kids about gender, and that's the point schools are for education not indoctrination...

Forgot these nuggets...

So after reading this garbage, little Timmy comes home and says, I'm now Tammy; she/her. Maybe next week I'll be Timmy again; he/him.

Sooooo glad this evil crap was not yet an issue for our 4 kids. Seattle schools were starting to get very PC in regard to confused sexual beings, so we home schooled from the beginning. We were part of a large Christian home school group in the city. Moving back to Montana, we found such a group here as well. They all have turned out to be productive and talented adults, without all the gender nonsense. These liberal twits running schools just keep finding ways to further damage our youth.

It's a cancer that needs to be fought. It will spread to wherever we go. At some point we have to make a stand. I could just "opt out" since we've decided to do that this year and put my son back in private Christian school next year. But I'm doing this out of principle now.

I'm addressing someone saying a child needs their "ass stomped" over learning bodily autonomy. That's pretty dumb.

I would agree, however, on the trans indoctrination stuff. First it's unnecessary because 99% of kids won't encounter this stuff. Second, it's unnecessary because you have to teach kids hate, not acceptance.

These books are misguided horseshit, telling kids to be what they feel, or whatever, is going to create more false-positive "gender fluid" kids and cause more problems than it solves. Kids need to learn from concrete examples, not having such or being told that "gender is how you feel," is not how to build healthy children.

Having them available at a library is one thing. If they are actually a bonafide part of a school curriculum, different story.

It is OK to not hug Grandma.
