2026 Handheld Flashlights - Torture Test and Ranking
I know forumites seek input on handheld flashlights from time to time. Just saw this in-depth comparison on quite a few lights conducted on the Werkz Holsters YouTube Channel.

Neat test. I do like my Fenix lights. Now have Chicago, Philly, Miami, Anchorage, Phoenix, and Seattle PD test those for a year on the job. I’d be willing to wager the top 3 would come through with flying colors.

In my case, the test would be:
How well does it handle going through the washing machine?
How cheap is it to replace, when I lose it?
Anything sharp to hurt the baby?

I have a few Malkoff Device lights that are bombproof. Highly recommend them. (family run business in Alabama)

For anyone looking for more info and to not spend a lot but still get great performance, the 2 flashlight sites that have waaaaaaay too much (good) information are Budget Flashlight Forum and Candlepower.
For myself, I've settled on Sofirn SC31pro as near ideal for what I want. Love the Emisar D4 in both Aluminum and Titanium, and the Convoys in Titanium, but the lit up on/off button of the SC31, charging with USB and the price sell that one for me.

Project Farm just did a flashlight review. I cut to the chase and screenshotted the rankings for future reference.
