...but I just saw a comment that is truly funny. Yes, Cats is a huge bomb. I don't care, neither should you, and that's not why I'm posting this. In the comments section of that article, a commenter posted:

Very first response not merely not germane to the issue but spins it in a political direction. Roll Eyes Isn’t there ANYTHING that politics needs not be a part of?

Good grief. Guys. This is NOT A POLITICAL THREAD!!!!!!!!

WHY??? WHY do some of you find it necessary to shove politics into threads???? It's old, unoriginal, unfunny, boring and UNWELCOME.

pessimist, explain yourself. Did you not read my post????? WHAT is your problem?

satch, you've been here FIFTEEN YEARS. How can you not know to keep politics out of apolitical threads? Explain this to me, please.

I did read your post. I was simply posting a funny comment that I recently read. It just happen to be in a political article and it honestly didn't even occur to me that it would steer the thread into politics or be unwelcome. It was just an amusing comment.

I don't like when non-political threads are hijacked and (until now apparently) I've never been one of the offenders.

Apologies to all.

That's pretty bad.

The audience should've burned the theater that debuted 'Napoleon Dynamite'.

that reminds me of an old Rodney Dangerfield line that went something like...

'my schools football team was so tough that after they sacked the quarterback, they went after his family'

it musta been a really, really, really bad movie

This is a comment on a page of the announcement of the passing of motorcycle racer/designer Micheal Csyz.

If that happened more often, maybe Hollywood would start producing real movies again and would stop “ phoning it in” with remakes and useless shit.

I was watching a DIY YouTube video a few years bAck on drywall repair. The gentlemen in the video was showcasing how to cut a hole in drywall (already hung) for one reason or another. Rather than using a keyhole saw, this guy used a sawzall.

The first comment in the comment: “I could have cut a cleaner hole with a fucking machine gun”

I belly laughed for 5 minutes.
