Another good comparison with today's events is the "Cultural Revolution" under Chairman Mao in the 60's. The marauding mobs there were his "Red Guards".

Hitler was Man of the Year. It's not a title given because they like the person, it's a title given because that person is important or has had some massive impact on the world. Filthy, murdering commie, or not, Uncle Joe certainly had a big impact on the world in his time.
