We have successfully navigated Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Exhaustion Saturday, Traffic Jam Sunday, and now all that is left is Cyber Monday.

My plan for this Cyber Monday is simple.

In the past I've simply tried to resist breaking out the credit cards, to no avail.

So one year I bought one of those little document safes and put my credit cards inside and mailed myself the keys figuring that they would arrive Tuesday or Wednesday. Thankfully I had enough pennies, nickels, and dimes to buy the cheapest oxy-acetylene cutting torch Harbor Freight Tools had in stock.

The next year I bought a bigger safe and put both the credit cards and the oxy-acetylene cutting torch inside the safe. Thankfully our resident safe whisperers were able to get me into the safe after I assured them there was a baby locked inside.

Last year I tried another idea. I gave the credit cards to a baby and I locked the baby and the credit cards in the safe. Sadly Loudoun Fire and Rescue folks weren't able to get into the safe before the baby maxed out all of my cards.

This year I intend to try an entirely new approach to Cyber Monday.

I'm going to lock myself in a safe with the baby and the credit cards on the outside. Hopefully, that will keep me from being able to spend money. I have, however, checked that there is a marginal wireless signal inside the safe so it may not be a foolproof plan.

Do you folks think that there will be enough of a wireless signal I will still be able to get out to spend money at check sites like Top Gun Supply?

What are your Cyber Monday plans?

Well i have to go back on shift starting Monday night till Saturday morning so I have to stay off the computer for most of that time.

The only thing I am really looking for is an M4/M16 plinker. If I find a

NIB. FN FN15 5.56 Nato 16" LE Carbine.

NIB. Doublestar Corp 5.56 Nato 16" Lightweight Patrol
Carbine.

OR Smith Wesson MP15 at a good price I may snag one.
