Hmm.
Having a bear raised in captivity is probably actually safer than having say, a chimp as a pet? Or, what was it that tore the face off that lady in CT?

Had a long discussion with folks at works years back about what you would rather have as a pet, a tiger or a bear. I was in the bear camp and this only reinforces my choice. “Who’s a good boy...who’s a good boy.....you are”. . “Sic him yogi”.
Obviously having any wild animal “tamed” in captivity is DANGEROUS so YMMV.
