In Cincinnati we have Greater's ice cream. Best I've ever had. About five dollars
for a pint. Don't eat it very often, I'm fat enough as it is. Big Grin

From their website.

Choco Peanuts
Roasted peanuts covered in a chocolate flavored coating mixed throughout the ice cream as part of some flavor profiles.

Just finished the carton last night. Smile Will have to pick up another one soon and try some other flavors. Yeah it takes some restraint eating a good ice cream and very hard not to go back for another helping but I have gotten much better with that over the years.

Turkey Hill is owned by Kroger, so you will find it at their stores.

Edit to Update: The company was sold by Kroger, and now is owned by a private investment firm.

Blue Bell (best ice cream EVER, btw) made Tin Roof years ago. It was a staple in our freezer until it vanished off the freezer shelves. Pissed me off…was my favorite.

Surprise, Surprise, Surprise, shopping at the Little Rock Air Force Base Commissary today, found Turkey Hill Ice Cream. Went for fhe Black Cherry flavor. Limited varieties.

That is one of my favorites. Always a spoon with cherries in it. Loaded with them.

It's good ice cream. Creamy, loaded with whatever "toppings" they add. Chocolate peanut butter has a swirl of peanut butter so thick it sticks to the roof of your mouth. You definitely get your money's worth out of a tub. I have found Breyers to be icy and some others "sandy" in texture. Tillamook is as creamy but double the price.

Pick up a tub and see for yourself.

Yep! I was not sayin that it is the best ice cream the world has ever seen, but IMHO excellent and a bargain price for the quality well worth trying at least once. Local Meijer has Hudsonville ice cream and their Deer Traxx flavor is also terrific. Meijer just got another premium brand in I have never heard of before, Cedar Crest, and they have an Elephant Tracks flavor LOL. I will gram one of those next time I see it on sale.

Not in my book. Meringue suits lemon, lime, and other such pies very well but cream suits chocolate MUCH better.

To each their own. Wink
