The Little League World Series is going on right now and is really fun to watch. Those youngsters play the game as it was intended.

I love baseball as well. I enjoy college baseball. Watching Coastal win it all as the cinderella team was right up with watching the RedSox beat the Yankees way back. Little league is fun as well.
But those that say the game is just all homeruns. I give you Robles and his incredible arm
There are any number of these and while I do not get to drive up to see the nats (4+hours) like I used to watch the Rangers when I lived in Denton, I do love watching them on MASN.
Great fun.

Nats fan also , sucks that I'm not able to watch on TV (Dish) due to blackout, even MLB.com. I would think I was far enough away from DC. Max is back, pitching tonight.

Former Phillies fan here when they played at Vet Stadium. Got access to free season tickets and 50 cent parking in the late '70's at the Vet. Most of the fun was in the stands and among the drunks in the picnic areas.

Watching baseball on TV is really boring (at least for me). Watching it live at the ball park with family and friends is really a nice time.

It ain't politically correct, nor would the owner (who I loathe) approve, but I don't care. I've been a fan since I could walk and hold a bat.

I can ONLY get into baseball if I'm at a game. There is no way I can watch one on TV, not even a World Series game. Baseball fell out of favor with me during the baseball strike many years ago.
Sad to hear reports of empty stadiums during games. I grew up going to Astros games, and if I had to pick a 'favorite' team, they would be it. However, they fell out of favor more with me when the went to the American League.

I much prefer baseball how it "used to be."
There are way too many strike outs...drives me crazy. Stats like Dave Kingman back in the day are now becoming more normal, but it seems to now be ok to strike out 200 times a year as long as you hit 30 home runs. Just like it seems to be ok to hit .230 as long as you hit 30 home runs.

I’m not really a big baseball fan, but this is the best baseball video ever:

National AND World Champions! My boy thought it was cool that some of the players he's been on the field with in rec ball were on TV.

How about 17 hits (a record) in the tournament and a batting average of .739?

I only care that they score all of those runs and win all of those games but they still can't make up any ground on the Atlanta Braves.

You guys won't stop fucking winning. We are playing our asses off and not gaining any ground. I'm settling for the play in game at this point.
