.38supersigRebranding? Hey Bud Light... Hold My Beer!
Cool!
It looks great for anyone under 5'4".
No side mirrors, no rear window, and no buyers.
What could possibly go wrong?

chellim1The Type 00 name (Jaguar would like you to say “zero-zero”) references zero tailpipe emissions and the brand’s complete reset: this is “car zero” for the new Jaguar.
Or is 00 the number they will sell?
"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

83v45magna00. Maybe that's the number of employees left at Jag when these don't sell.
It's a prophesy.

x0225095Not telling you anything you didn’t already know but this collapse didn't take all that long. Turns out economics is a pretty efficient model after all.

nhtagmemberWhen will corporate ever learn that ‘woke’ is toxic. The 0.001% of the population that is woke cannot ever support a company that produces things worth more than $1
The boys on Top Gear were right all along.

pedropcolaHonestly if that 97% number is correct then losing less than 2% of their workplace won’t do dick to help. Now it would help if all 500 of those management types were in marketing because damn they suck at marketing.

It really is weird.
It's not like they don't have a marketing department. Marketing departments are supposed to be able to do market research and boil everything down to numbers for management to make a decision.
"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

Ya, a 97.5% drop in global sales.

"After recently announcing a staggering 97.5 percent drop in global sales..."
Found it! The number is based on new car registrations only in the EU and it only one month this year vs. last year. In April 2025, 49 Jaguars were newly registered in the EU vs. 1,961 in April of 2024.
SourceMaybe the drop sales has something to do with that they quit building cars in 2024?

DanHThey're trying to play it off like they knew it would happen because they shut down their factories for retooling. The only problem is no one wants the cars left on the dealer lots.

Jaguar's managing director, Rawdon Glover, has expressed his disappointment over the "vile hatred and intolerance" seen in reactions to a new advert from the luxury car maker.
I know it's immature, but the internet is undefeated as it has renamed Rawdon Glover to Raw Dong Lover...

FenderBenderJaguar stepped away from selling new cars for 2025, I'd fully expect their sales to be almost zero.
the revamp is going to be interesting, the new cars are not going to be in the same segment they were in. these things are going to be 350k
