They should change the name from Jaguar to Jagoff.

The All-EV decision is what will kill them. Trump will pull back EV mandates and other countries are doing the same because the market isn't buying.

Given Jaguar's history of electrical gremlins I don't see them having a very viable car at the price they are going to charge.

Seems they do a better ad at Volvo. Faguar should try and copy that.

AI designed the perfect video for Jaguar. If you watched it, in about a month, you'll have a strange sensation to own one. You'll be willing to do anything to own one, sell house, trade sex for money.

None of you watched the video did you?

Not my invention, but I thought it cleverly captured the newest dumpster fire of an ad campaign.

Now it all makes sense...
This ad was designed for Tesla owners. Wink Big Grin

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

JAG CEO:

“ Jaguar's managing director, Rawdon Glover, has expressed his disappointment over the "vile hatred and intolerance" seen in reactions to a new advert from the luxury car maker. The company faced a storm of online criticism after releasing a 30-second teaser on X, which used to be Twitter, showing models in vibrant attire but no cars.”

Two of my favorite cars - Jaguar XK 140 Drophead and Jaguar 3.8 Saloon! As mentioned earlier, I gave up when I realized I needed a riding mechanic. Lucas, Prince of Darkness, struck too many times.

I had been considering breaking my vow of ¨No More” until I saw the stupid commercial, then read the official comment above, followed by the video, and sealed my conclusion.

The old Jags would run on smoke. When Lucas let all the smoke out, it stopped running.

Faguar wants to copy nothing and will soon have more batteries than buyers.

It's never a good idea to blame the (potential) customer for your mistakes...

There are, of course, parallels with the Bud Light advertising fiasco, but the products involved- and the customers of these two products- are radically different.

One does not stop by the convenience store to pick up a Jaguar for the evening, nor buy Jaguars perhaps fifty times in a year.

Well, a year ago I wouldn't have considered a Jag-you-or under any imaginable circumstance. After all this, I am unmoved...I still have no use for one.

So, for me the ad did absolutely no harm.
