I've lost 75 lbs since April. I quit eating crap and have been moving everyday whether it's the gym, walking, or hiking. I'm off all medication (cholesterol and blood pressure) and no longer use a CPAP machine.

My goal for 2025 is maintenance and to have more patience with people.

    2024:
Stayed low key and lived life one day at a time.
Save up my vacation days until the end of the year so I don't have to drive through the holiday shopping madness.
Got long tube headers and exhaust cut-outs so the neighborhood kids will know that an 8.3L is louder than their 1.8L.
Stayed in touch with long time friends and was able to help them out whenever they needed it.

    2025:
Don't die alone in the rain.

    2024

    - Took an awesome trip to Alaska with my oldest son where we borrowed a car and just winged it for a little over a week.
    - Watched my youngest reel in a 22" bass...biggest I've ever seen in our local lake. It was way more about his excitement than the fish.
    - Oldest got his license and it's been fun (and sometimes a little sad) watching him mature into a more independent, mostly responsible, almost adult.
    - Fun family vacation in WY with lots of great hikes, wildlife sightings, and fishing.
    - Some personnel upheaval at work has made for a stressful year, but it seems to be turning out OK in the end.

    2025 goals

    - Climb Cloud Peak in the Bighorns with my wife this summer
    - Hike the Camino de Santiago with my wife and son in the fall
    - Finish the back half of my in-law's house so that we're done working on that all the time
    - Remodel our only bathroom...a project that's been overdue since we bought the house
    - Get the rookie through training and through the Academy so we can go back to a normal work schedule
