I may be tempted to take a little road trip of my own to visit a town called Rifle to visit a restaurant called Shooters Grill. Sounds like a nice distraction right about now and I know some folks I could visit.

I worked out of Rifle for 9 years. Shooter’s Grill has been open for quite a few years now. I met a group of my old grazing permittees there last time I came through. Rifle is in Garfield County. Lou Vallerio has been the sheriff there for 17 years now. He’s conservative and a great supporter of the Second Amendment, along with many other sheriffs of rural Colorado counties. As effed as Colorado is now, there are lots of good people in that state; I feel for them.
