Interesting. I know someone who had severe vertigo that was greatly aggravated by sulfites in red wine. She switched to organic wine and has no problem. -c1steve

The only arthritis I have is my middle finger, left hand. Go figure. I've noticed that if I slack off on hydration, it seems to get worse. .....never marry a woman who is mean to your waitress.

my wife is celiac with Sjogren's, and at one point we did the AIP diet, for a week or 2, to cleanse her system so to speak, and then reintroduce stuff to see what worked and did not she has to stay hydrated, part of the Sjogrens, and has to be careful of nightshades, like potato/eggplant/tomato, and of course, Wheat, I worked wiht a lady that had similar issues and suggested the AIP diet, and it worked, tho it sucked, for those 2 weeks I don't have those issues, and may drink a Coke a day, sometimes 2, I am fairly consistent on what I eat, and eat a good variety, yet my arthritis is still there, mostly work related, (butcher for 19 yrs, and 40 yrs in the gro biz walking on concrete) so my hands hurt based on activity sometimes, not so much what I eat, ditto my ankles, knees etc, switch up shoes, and it helps, https://chandlersfirearms.com/chesterfield-armament/

I know for an absolute FACT that Sugar triggers Arthritis. As for how, my nephews Wife noted that I had a bit of a sweet tooth when I stayed with them one Christmas. At that time the Arthritis in the radial head of both wrists and basal joint of both thumbs was bad enough it was painful for my to even sign a paycheck. She told me at that time that if I cut way back on Sugar my Arthritis would improve and it would also be helpful in regards to my Heart Disease. I listened to her because at that time she was an RN and today she is now an NP. BTW she also has a smile that can stop traffic. When Lindsey is smiling the world is a much happier place. Anyhow 3 years later the only trace of arthritis I have today is a very mild bit of Trigger Finger in the left middle finger. I will also note that giving up Sugar is a BITCH. I've stopped counting.

Just posting. Judge the credibility yourself. “An ancient Brazilian herb could help tackle crippling knee pain, research has suggested. Osteoarthritis, as it is known medically, affects 10 million people in the UK, according to charity Arthritis UK. In the US, that number is 33 million. Exercise, weight management and physiotherapy are common approaches recommended by doctors, but it is often not enough to manage pain and stiffness. Yet current pain relief options are also limited, short term, and often have minimal benefit. Now, in tests on mice, Brazilian researchers found the medicinal plant alternanthera littoralis — more commonly known as Joseph’s Coat — could help to reduce swelling and inflammation as well as pain and stiffness on the joints. The native Brazilian species often grows in the country's coastal regions and has typically been used to help treat certain bacterial, fungal and even parasitic infections. Until now, a lack of evidence around complementary approaches has meant health professionals have not been able to recommend them. But the scientists said that while further clinical tests were still vital to prove its benefits for arthritis, the study's findings are encouraging for eventual human use. …” DailyMail article: https://mol.im/a/15405497 Serious about crackers.

The best thing I’ve heard from a doc on TV, (talking about eating well during the holidays), is to focus more on proteins and: “DRINK WATER LIKE IT’S YOUR JOB.” Sound advice! -------- After the game, the King and the pawn go into the same box.

Yes to certain foods, but for me the worst is... Booze. If I have a couple on a Friday OR a Saturday, no problem. If I have couple on a Friday AND a Saturday my joints will let me know.
