The Trump Presidency : Year V
A couple observations:

1. Who was prosecuted during the Afghanistan Pull Out Revenge bombing where we bombed a family that had nothing to do with the gate bombing and in fact, worked for the USA? Of course, there was also all those drone strikes done by Obummer, so I guess he should be charged too.

2. Does this mean that every bombing mission, every AC130 attack is now a war crime? We know it is not a war crime for the first bomb, but I guess it is now for the second bomb. So, an AC130 puts a 105mm round into a group of terrorists, so I guess when the survivors scatter like cockroaches, it is now a war crime to engage with the 40mm or 20mm guns.

Did the people operating the pen include themselves in the pardons? Not that it matters but it would indicate guilt.
For what other need would there be?

They've already tried everything, including multiple attempts to murder him, so, what else can they do? If they get the chance, they'll try again to impeach him, but that's been true for years, so, he'll just speak his mind. He has nothing to lose by publicly speaking the truths that countless of us are thinking.

The Trump Train has pulled into the station at NoFucksville.

This right here tells you something…

He had a moment of clarity to actually sign Hunters while the kids were in the other room cranking out auto pen signatures. There is no way he approved them or else he would’ve signed them as well.

I wouldn’t put it past the users of the autopen to probably get a small kickback… selling signatures for a fee or favor or job post election.

Should be a small task to authenticate these documents. She's low hanging fruit just like Walz. Time for some action. Take the garbage out it's all bagged up.

My friend, you are 100% wrong.

Thanks for all that.

I was of course referring to the current operation of killing suspected drug runners, not the sorts of targets you were presumably referring to that I consider to be enemy combatants in a war that they started and are actively pursuing. Calling something a war on drugs doesn't make it a real war any more than the war on poverty is/was. If, however, it did, then some people would certainly argue that the laws (i.e., treaties) pertaining to waging war should apply, to include how the enemy forces are treated.

I obviously could be wrong and perhaps the President has the legal authority to kill drug runners at his discretion, but there are some differences between the sorts of things you and I are discussing. The closest analogy I can think of about what I am referring to would be if a police officer sees someone he knew was dealing fentanyl

I lost my sister in 2019 to fentanyl. I've lost friends and some I served with, some of those thought they were getting "street Xanax" that turned out to be laced. I also have kids, at the "experimental age", that I worry about. I say any drug dealer that sells this stuff, anyone bringing it into this country, and any country that helps and /or harbors is an enemy of the people of these United States. I also fully believe that they should all be killed. Without mercy, without court, and with extreme prejudice.

My post wasn’t about right or wrong, it was about believing whether something is justified is all that matters rather than whether it’s also legal. That’s something that everyone should understand because it is an obvious fact of life.

And finally so no one else needs to sacrifice a few electrons by expressing a sentiment that has no relevance to their own situation, I’ll get it out of the way by posting the platitude myself: “No one should be afraid of doing what’s right.” I’ll leave it at that and not waste any time or effort by discussing how foolish the statement is.

Reports are that Hunter was running a lot of things while living at the White House for months at the end of Biden's term. Jill was also acting in charge. I would surmise that they made sure Hunter and James (Joe's brother) had ink signed pardons. They probably personally set the documents in front of Joe to sign, ensuring it happened.

It is quite possible Joe had little understanding, and no memory, of why exactly he was signing documents. And I fully believe his staff was largely operating without supervision.
