Trump is going to have to name the specific countries which are considered “Third World”. Some Third World pass for First World.

It might be easier to list which countries are NOT “Third World”.

And federal judge (insert name here) has blocked...3...2...1 Not trying to be negative but there is no denying this is the case with nearly everything Trump is trying to do. Right now this is just a proclamation and yes he needs to define and name third world countries. There needs to be an action plan that gets triggered right after these proclamations are made before judges have time to react. Same with the Minnesota Somali's whose deportation protection status has been revoked. This needs to begin with those in government who work against this country. Ilhan Omar and the Squad should have been woken from their beds right after Trump posting this and already be on their way out of the country. Head 'em up move 'em out!!

If the Dems do try to block this, it is another political win for the right. The left will be, again, having to stand up for anti-American non-citizen violent criminals and leeches.

Douglas Murray wrote a great article in the NY Post about this exact topic and was an excellent read. No more from these countries, period!

This is heartbreaking for me as World Relief used to be a great Christian organization. I traveled to Rwanda and Congo with them and my church in '05. They were truly doing teach a man to fish type work in Africa with microfinance, training, and even funding ag research to take Rwanda's coffee from C- grade to A-Grade so with the same effort farmers could earn a better living (BTW, it must've worked as 20 years later Rwanda coffee is in Starbucks and supermarkets). They had other great ministries making a difference as well - HIV/AIDS, widows and orphans, post-genocide conflict resolution, child immunizations, etc. At one point, I was on a first name basis with both the current CEO and former CEO. Both had been full-time missionaries, and were great Godly men. I donated to them monthly for at least a decade.

Then, something changed during the 2nd Obama admin:
  • their new CEO was a former executive from one of the big 4 accounting firms. No indication he had ever been a full-time missionary.
  • every year, the board of directors elected more and more directors from big 4 accounting firms without indication of having full-time missionary experience.
  • they created a vice president of "brand." This tends to be the beginning of a downward spiral for any charity as next thing you know they're trademarking everything and they act more like a marketing firm than a charity. Eventually, they begin suing other charities for trademark infractions especially if the other charity is smaller.
  • they became addicted the US government tit in the form of being paid to help facilitate 3rd world immigration. During the Trump's first term, they started sending e-mails whining about their finances due to Trump's immigration policies. This is when I went from concerned to my eyes wide open to pissed off and cancelling monthly giving.

Taking control of the board of directors and key positions at charities and foundations is part of communism 101. I never knew that Soros got his tentacles into World Relief. Eek

I'm no expert on the legalities of these latest moves by President Trump but we're all now quite familiar with the left's reactions. They will judge shop and seek injunctions. Appeals against these injunctions will be required, wherein the Trump administration may or may not prevail, but with regard to the autopen scandal, it's good this is coming to a head now, because something needed to be done to cause this matter to go through the courts, and now that is going to happen.

With regard to prohibiting immigration from certain specific countries, this is long past due. This sack of shit ungrateful Afghan "refugee" may have single-handedly fucked countless "immigrants". The left is melting down over all of this because they understand this to be so. We know that for leftists, any means to an end is acceptable, and the danger to President Trump's life has just increased manifold. Keep in mind that we are only ten months into His term and the leftists and their globalist masters see no way out. Their anger is palpable.

We should be prepared for anything.

At some point, the decent people of this country, who just want to be left alone and have their own country, will have had enough.

Each passing day, we get closer to having our hand forced.

there's nothing wrong with immigration when we admit people to the country that can benefit us all

its the uncontrolled immigration where the goals of the immigrant are placed ahead of the goals of the US that is the issue

we are going to need a crapload of highly skilled people shortly - technical hands on as well as engineering

we can admit those once vetted

Trump Warns Airspace Above, Surrounding Venezuela Closed Entirely

President Donald Trump said Saturday that the airspace above and surrounding Venezuela is to be closed in its entirety.

"To all Airlines, Pilots, Drug Dealers, and Human Traffickers, please consider THE AIRSPACE ABOVE AND SURROUNDING VENEZUELA TO BE CLOSED IN ITS ENTIRETY," Trump said in a Truth Social post early Saturday morning.

"Thank you for your attention to this matter! PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP."

Last week, the U.S. aviation regulator warned major airlines of a "potentially hazardous situation" when flying over Venezuela due to a "worsening security situation and heightened military activity in or around" the country.

Venezuela revoked operating rights for six major international airlines that had suspended flights to the country following a warning from the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration.

Trump reportedly spoke by phone last week with Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro, discussing the possibility of an in-person meeting even as Washington intensifies military and diplomatic pressure on Caracas.

The late-week conversation — which included Secretary of State Marco Rubio — came just before a State Department designation took effect labeling Maduro the head of a foreign terrorist organization, the Cartel de los Soles, sources told The New York Times.

Maduro was reportedly warned that the U.S. would escalate military actions if he did not leave Caracas in the short term, but the White House rejected that report as "fabricated."

The phone call between the Republican leader and the Venezuelan dictator took place last weekend, with Rubio also participating. The White House told Infobae that a possible meeting between the two leaders is "fabricated."

While the two leaders floated the idea of meeting in the United States, no plans are currently in place.

The call arrives amid a major U.S. military buildup in the Caribbean. Officials say the deployment is aimed at deterring drug trafficking, but they have also openly talked about Maduro stepping down, even hinting that force remains an option.

The U.S. Defense Department did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment.

U.S. strikes against alleged drug boats in the Caribbean have been underway for months, along with a U.S. military buildup in the region, and Trump has authorized covert CIA operations in Venezuela.

The President told military service members this week that the U.S. would "very soon" begin land operations to stop suspected Venezuelan drug traffickers.

Last week, the U.S. aviation regulator warned major airlines of a "potentially hazardous situation" when flying over Venezuela due to a "worsening security situation and heightened military activity in or around" the South American country.

Venezuela revoked operating rights for six major international airlines that had suspended flights to the country after the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration warning.

The Trump administration has accused Maduro of involvement in drug trafficking, a charge he has denied.

Maduro, in power since 2013, has said that Trump is seeking to oust him and that Venezuelan citizens and the military will resist any such attempt.

U.S. forces in the region have so far focused on counter-narcotics operations, although the assembled firepower far outweighs anything needed for them.

They have carried out at least 21 strikes on alleged drug boats in the Caribbean and Pacific since September, killing at least 83.

ETA: I guess Northwestern couldn’t find a compliant district judge to overturn the administration’s order.

“Northwestern University has agreed to a $75million settlement with the federal government over alleged race-based admissions practices and claims of a 'hostile' environment for Jewish students.

The agreement requires the Illinois university to implement mandatory antisemitism training for all students, faculty and staff.

Northwestern will also have to comply with federal anti-discrimination laws to make sure the school 'does not preference individuals based on race, color, or national origin in admissions, scholarships, hiring, or promotion'.

The mammoth deal with the Trump administration was announced Friday. Northwestern's payments will last through 2028.

As a result, the federal government will restore hundreds of millions of dollars in research funding it yanked amid the probe.

The university was dragged into an investigation over allegations it was not adequately protecting Jewish students amid the wave of pro-Palestine protests that swept campuses in the wake of the October 7 attack by Hamas.

The crisis led to the resignation of Northwestern's president Michael Schill after three years in the job.

Officials from the Trump administration hailed the agreement. Linda McMahon, the Secretary of Education, called it a 'huge win' for current and future students, as well as alumni and faculty. …”
