Let’s discuss this peace plan that looks and sounds real good, but leave out one of the major players. Like they are going to completely disarm. Not happening.

If Schumer and Dollar Store Obama hadn't pissed and moaned about this publicly all day, it would have just faded off as one of countless digs by The Donald, but since they can't let it go, they're going to get prodded with it for quite a long time.
All they had to do was ignore it, but they're just not that bright, so they made sure that everyone knows how badly it bothers them, and that's a real mistake.
I'm watching the press conference on Fox with Trump, Dr. Oz, RFK Jr, and Albert Bourla, CEO of Pfizer. They are announcing a deal that gives the US Most Favored Nation (MFN) status in pricing drugs. It means (for Pfizer to start, with more to follow) a major decrease in drug costs, that should result in overall lower health care costs. Marty Makary is saying that increased drug costs has been the major contributor in recent years to overall health care costs. Another aspect will be anchoring drug production for both generic and proprietary drugs. I'm glad I caught the whole thing, because all these health care leaders under Trump are very impressive; and of course they all--rightly--give Trump credit for pushing (harassing and haranguing in Oz's words) his people to make this happen.
We don't deserve him.

I'm just old enough to remember when idiots in the public square were simply ignored and dismissed. You didn't bother to engage or argue with them, because arguing with idiots is painful and unrewarding. You stared at them for a second to confirm that they were, indeed, idiots, and then completely disregarded them and continued with adult business.
