I'll look for the post (may have been WBAL in Baltimore) about the equipment rolling into DC for the Army's 250th celebration. Don't think there will be much of a ruckus. 6800 troops will be present, and a pretty sizable law enforcement presence. WBAL was showing the troops having installed tread pads, and other precautions taken not to impact the streets or the Mall.

There’s been 2 days of make-up notes left on X by DJT and JDV, both calling for the country to thank EM for his sacrifices to help save the country (like losing 25% of his wealth), to which Elon responded “It was worth it.” Elon posted that there’s been a lot of character assassination on social media about him…much of it by him. That was a LOL. Musk has been echoing the WH/DJT media messages about the LA riots. I think they’re looking at patching it up. BTW polls show something like 80% taking DJT’s side.

IMO, Musk essentially calling Trump a pedophile regarding the Epstein thing is unforgivable, unless he apologizes specifically for that, which he hasn’t done so far. All he said is he regrets “some” of the things he posted. Disagreeing with Trump’s policy is fine, but tinfoil personal attacking Trump like he did won’t sit well with me.

President Donald Trump announced on Tuesday that seven Army bases will revert to names that once honored Confederate leaders but will now take the names of nine highly decorated U.S. Army soldiers of the same name.
“For a little breaking news, we are also going to be restoring the names to Fort Pickett, Fort Hood, Fort Gordon, Fort Rucker, Fort Polk, Fort A.P. Hill, and Fort Robert E. Lee,” Trump said while speaking at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. “We won a lot of battles out of those forts. It’s no time to change. And I’m superstitious. I like to keep it going.”
Minutes after Trump’s speech, the Army announced those names would now honor nine soldiers from five conflicts whose names match the original Confederate leaders for each base.
