Sometime back I suggested in one of these threads perhaps this one that the Department of Defense be returned to its original name the Department of War. Apparently Pete Hegseth believes so as well.

I wish the focus of the Department of Defense was the Defense of this nation. Not Ukraine. Not Europe. But defending the shores and borders of the United States.
