How realistic of a goal is eliminating term limits?? If Trump manages to put all the right people in all the right places than can it be done? I like Vance but we would be blessed to have more time with Trump. Also, to add.. maybe it's my cynical nature but I find myself struggling to embrace Vance as Trump's replacement given what he candidly said about Trump in the past. You need to get over that, Donald Trump certainly did. Vance admits he grew politically since that time, and I believe him. Honestly, can you name a better successor to DJT the JD Vance? I can't, just listen to him, he's the guy...Vance 2028!

No. We need more term limits not less. No matter how good a job anyone does, politics should not be a career, nor did the founders intend for that. There will be other great people that can fill President Trump’s shoes. If he does a good job, it will be that much easier to ensure that a like minded person can replace him.

Trump is awesome and I really appreciate everything he is doing. However, he is old. I don’t want him dying in office like FDR. Also, he has done a hell of a lot for us already and he will likely have done orders of magnitude more for us by the end end of his next term. If he hasn’t earned the right to pass the torch and enjoy his retirement then I cannot imagine who might have.

It would be terrible. Just because you (and I) like the the current President, doesn't make it a good idea. It would have been a disaster to overturn this Constitutional amendment 10-12 years ago, because we would probably have Obama as supreme dictator right now.

2028 is a long and short time away…in political and news cycle days, months, and years. I like Vance, but I am also liking Tulsi and Rubio. Trump is making a very deep bench going forward. Republicans have a lot of options while the Dims don’t. That is a very good thing.
