That is a giant ass pic, but I like the paints scheme.

That's a nice plane, irregardless of the paint.

If you can afford one of those, you can afford to have them hook the GPU up a little earlier to cool the interior off from any extra heat you catch due to the non-white paint job. Not only different, but pretty too.

Errrrrrrrmmm...how exactly would a GPU cool the plane?

Nice looking unique paint job, but it must have been ex-pen-SIVE!!!

Reminds me of Lewis Hamilton's Bombardier Challenger:

The Falcon is definitely the prettier plane, though.
For half the price though, I'll have a Citation X

Sorry, comes of posting exhausted. A ground power unit clearly won't cool your bird. It might help you get started early (if it is even needed for that. Is there anything modern that needs external power for the start?) so you can use your own AC, but I can't think of anything else a GPU would do for you. Do FBOs have AC carts, or is cranking up the only way to cool? The only thing that cools my Travel Air (Beech, not one of the the cool ones) is altitude, so I'm not up on the latest in cooling jets. It's really cool until you try to see it on the taxiway at ORD on a rainy night...

Google RJ Corman Aircraft and Railroad.
He (though he passed a few years back)has some pretty slick looking planes, helicopters, and locomotives. All are red. I read an article awhile back that talked about how much it adds to the operating cost of planes and helicopters for him to have red aircraft.

We used to pass that on the way to Center College, for a November Lacrosse tournament.

I always LOVED driving by and seeing what was in the hanger.

What a business model. Who else does what they do?

He sounded like a good guy, who died way too young.

Here's registration info for the Falcon in the OP, it was built in 2007.

http://registry.faa.gov/aircra...er&nNumberTxt=N539CA

You can track any plane by N number, but many corporate jets are blocked. N539CA is not, it's on the way from Jackson Hole WY to Boca Raton FL:

Yeah, a customer of mine never leaves his jet outside. One time he was complaining because he had to have it washed after he landed in Fort Lauderdale for $450 because he sat on the taxi way too long in NJ and they had to de-ice his plane. I guess you can only have an FAA approved person wash an airplane?

Actually ORD is probably one of the best and most efficiently run hubs in the whole Country. It really is "world class" from an ATC standpoint.

When youre on the ground, dont stop. Keep moving. If you make a wrong turn they will fix it and put you back into the flow. Just dont stop! Be prepared to come screaming in at 320kts. It doesnt matter what the charted speeds are on the arrival. You better be doing that level at 10,000 too. If you wuss out and slow...they will let you know youre a douche.

See that thunderstorm ahead on the arrival? So do they. They will bring you right up to that sucker before they turn you so just chill out and dont pee your pants. It will be fine.

Also, when you talk to them on the radio, it's "Shi-caa-go Center". Talk like Da Coach.
