Been a few discussions about grills and grilling and griddles; is anyone familiar with Monument grills ?

They appear to be of similar quality as Blackstone and appear to be also made in the USA.

Anyone have experience with them ?

Never heard of them. Looked at the prices then checked out their website because nobody makes a $450 stainless steel grill in the USA or Canada for that matter. From the FAQs on their website:

“Where are Monument Grills Manufactured?

Our grills are designed in Atlanta, Georgia, and Manufactured by our plant ran in China. Our factory is among the most automated and High Quality in the industry.“ Link

At least they’re transparent about it.

There’s only one choice…Weber

They remind me of STOK grills which seemed to be everywhere for a few years then they fizzled out.

I had a Weber Genesis and it lasted a good 10 years but I found out that many parts are made in China, which explains why the stainless door panels started rusting.

So when I moved to NC and bought a new grill, I looked around and this was available from Home Depot at a very good price.

I put it together and it seems well built.

It came w a rotisserie motor and spit but I havent used that feature yet.

Lots of nice little things, like lighted dials. Very solid grill surface

I paid less that $345 back in Jan 2021.

When I am ready to go big again I think Im going to get a Napolean, prestige Pro 500 possibly. Need to find somewhere nearby that stocks them to check out in person.

I completely missed the part about them being made in China when I was looking.
Thanks for pointing that out.

Naploleon giving Weber some good competition. I like my Prestige 500 better than any Weber I’ve owned.

These go to eleven.
