I read this yesterday. Need a lot more information before I can draw any conclusions.

Really? Still faithful to you overlords, eh?
As soon as I read IRS, ATF, or any other BS alphabet agency is involved I know which side of the line I stand on.

It must be real easy for you, but I like to have as much information as possible BEFORE I pass judgment!! Kinda silly, I know.

It is sooooo easy for me. I'm sorry that it must be so hard for you though. Good luck with that.

No problem for me, but thanks for worrying about me.

I believe you're absolutely correct. However with this and similar cases of questionable government behavior I'm far less inclined to give the feds the benefit of the doubt.

I am not inclined to give them any leeway, either, but there seems to be a lot of information missing here.

There are plenty of intelligent people that refuse to believe that the fed would do such a thing. I think it’s safe to say that that is exactly the case. ATF/IRS/FBI are all beyond any trust imo.

Could be a case of a disgruntled employee, maybe there are issues, maybe there are not, seems like a lot of agents to go pick up some forms.

Sounds like some of it is the three letters wanting press about it's new found enforcement getting out to gun stores.

Look at what is happening in PA with warrantless searches of LGS by the local police.

Bidens administration is taking a full gloves off approach, with the SCOTUS decision on Bruen pretty much negating the states from oppressive sales, carry, license laws, the target now seems to be using the letters to go after retail outlets.

Yu put the pressure on retail/wholesale outlets, restrictions, loss of license, legal fees, people will opt to get out of the business, reducing locations to fewer that you can control through business legislation that won't be covered under the protections of the constitution like an individuals rights to keep and bear arms.

Just like they learned in COVID times, you couldn't make people wear masks, but you could require businesses to enforce mask polices or lose operating licenses, liquor licenses, no fly access, airport federal rules, etc, so you force compliance by restricting access unless you agree to the terms set for those entities.

I've said it before, but one of these days in the not distant future, these thugs are going to show up at the wrong place and try to intimidate the wrong fella.

Then it's on. The people have had enough.

The slow burn we're in makes that line different for everyone, and as such those willing to shoot them in the dick when they show up like this are seen as crazy and unhinged.

We need a large catalyst event to push enough people over the line to finally push back in a sizeable way that the abuses stop. I believe the one thing the federal roaches are good at is measuring just how far they can push past the line of sanity and constitutionality, NOT to incite enough people for such a response. Our own forum here is a decent example of that. A largely split response and opinions regarding such a line.

Its been said by more than one pundit that the goal with all this craziness is to create an environment where that is the result in order to further push harder left rules and suppress and even jail political opposition.

Tipping points are unpredictable, and in the moment can seem puzzling. George Floyd was one such logic-defying event.

One requirement is a "sticky" message. One that resonates with people. When it can be spun that the victim citizen is a lunatic, such as the Branch Dividians or Ruby Ridge, it is not sticky. But when enough people relate to the victim it will be.

When it happens it will be sudden. Without warning.

I believe the powers behind the scenes have no idea what they are diddling with.

I'm still trying to figure out the newest one.."are you latino?" that is such a bigoted and racist question it is beyond belief.

ethinticity, as in asking if you are or are not Hispanic has been on the form since Obama was in office,
it was changed during the fast and furious fiasco, about the same time (IIRC) that the 3310 applied for AR's and similar in states that border Mexico

According to a news release from U.S. Representative Matt Rosenadale (R-MT), the IRS confiscated all the 4473 forms from the store. According to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms website, generally, the forms must be completed at licensed business premises when a firearm is transferred over the counter.

Click here to read the letter Rosendale sent to the IRS and ATF.

The Biden administration's going to use the IRS to begin compling a backdoor federal gun registry, which might possibly be legal, that the ATF and FBI are - at least legally - prohibited from creating?

Well, there is a law specifically against compiling such a database, but that doesn't bother the BATFE--they believe they are above the law. So far, they've been right. That must stop.

The ATF isn't going door to door in south Chicago looking for Glock switches. They are going door to door in the burbs looking for FRT's. The difference between the CHi town gangsters and the folks in the burbs is they think they can control us. Gang and drug violence is a tool being used by .gov to achieve their desired goal of eliminating our rights first and our beliefs second.

The Government didn't allow free registration of our braces out of kindness. They assumed people would register their brace pistols since it was free. Government wasn't trying to register guns. They were hoping to register us knowing they could go to their homes get that one gun and collect the rest of them while they were there. They are playing the long game.

I agree with the event needing to be a large catalyst. It is coming and I hope when it happens we recognize that moment and take the correct actions.

What I mean is they do not understand the magnitude of what will be unleashed. They believe they can control it to get the outcome they're planning. It will be far uglier than they imagine, and the outcome is far from certain.

I have no faith that anyone will stand opposed to the alphabet agencies. I hope I get proved wrong on this but I honestly think people have been too thoroughly conditioned to obey.

I don't know? 800000 bump stocks were manufactured and less than 500 were turned int o the ATF. 10-40,000,000 braces were sold 225,000 folks registered them. That doesn't sound like like "thoroughly conditioned obeyance." Kind of sounds like a F-U to the government to me ears.
