**Update Got It** Pics in OP, Honda Rubicon DCT transmission
Picked her up a couple of Days ago and went for the 15 Mile break in ride and couldn't be happier with my purchase, Thanks again every one.
I'm in the market for a new 4 wheeler and was looking at Yamaha Kodiak and Honda Foreman/Rubicon. I pretty much think I will go with the Honda Rubicon for the upgraded suspension and what not compared to the Kodiak even though it a smaller engine. Not looking for speed this is hunting vehicle and work on lease vehicle. I'm not vary familiar with Honda's DCT transmission as my other bike is a polaris and V belt. I don't want to mess with gears so was looking for input from those that have a Honda with DCT and how they like it. The Honda will be a 2019 or 2020. Thnks HrayThis message has been edited. My wife had a 2009 Honda Rancher AT which I believe was the predecessor to the DCT transmission. Essentially it is a geared transmission with a shaft drive. In the 10 years we had that ATV the only problem I had was plowing snow where I was shifting between forward and revers quite often. The transmission froze and I had to manually shift it out of gear to get it working again. You shouldn't have that problem living in Florida.
The other negatives I recall are the transmission would shift hard when it was cold. Once it warmed up, the auto shifting was pretty smooth.
The other negative was shift timing. If you are aggressively climbing a hill, the transmission would lag on the down shift which turned out to be really a disappointment after I got my Yamaha Grizzly. The Grizz was hands down better at hill climbing.
The Honda ATVs are bulletproof and will last a long time. If you plan on puling stumps and that kind of work, the Honda with the gear'd transmission may be a better quad as there are no belts to burn up.

I have a honda VFR1200 with DCT. It's wonderful. I normally ride it in manual mode while using the "paddle" shifters like a Porsche PDK. It does work like an automatic if you prefer,but I don't really like the two options for the shift points.
I love it here!

If the Rubicon DCT is anything like the one in my Africa Twin, you'll love it. Honda has had DCT transmissions around for a while in bikes, the tech should transfer to quads easily enough.

My dad had one (2012 or so) until he traded it for a Mule.
It would do 55 with me & my wife on it, sharp rapid shifts & was trouble free the while time he had it.
The Enemy's gate is down.
