My tinnitus is so loud I need noise to get to sleep and music engages my brain too much. I can barely hear my cpap, so I use a pedestal fan.

Can't do the tunes or TV to fall asleep, same as Buddy357 have a small fan on the nightstand and a floor fan to drown out tinnitus and other sounds.

I don't have any problem falling asleep, but I do usually use a pillow speaker to listen to the radio when I get in bed. I listen to Coast to Coast AM, and I enjoy hearing about the UFOs, and especially Bigfoot. But I don't last long.

Anyone who is having vivid dreams is probably not sleeping that well. I am not an expert, but my understanding is that dreaming takes place in the deepest cycles of sleep, REM sleep. But you don't usually remember the dream unless you are awakened in the middle of it. But I would guess there are exceptions.

Used to love listening to that working 2nd and 3rd shift.
I have tried listening to some to previously recorded episodes during the day.
It is just not the same.

I use my IPad and an ear bud in one ear , it keeps the music private, and does not disturb the wife

I like to listen to Native American Flute
Carlos Nakai is a good one to fall asleep to

I was interested and
tried Robert Miles a couple of times the music was good but even turned down the beat was distracting or not relaxing enough

So back to the Flute music or even an occasional rain storm when I need to kick back

Kevin Locke is another fine flutist. He's Lakota Sioux, I believe...
