Donald Trump said something like, "What the hell do you have to lose?"

He was right. She should appeal to a better time in SF when families would come visit and ride the trollies. Make SF Great Again. Literally clean up the shit stains.

Ha. There's her campaign hook: SanFran:CUSS

She seems sharp and I wish her the best of luck but I don't think anyone is going to unseat the wicked witch of the west. Pelosi has a lock on the liberal retards in her district.

Interesting. Along this line, we're going out to supper tonight with a girl that grew up in SF. She's been totally corrupted into being a Kentucky girl. Its taken a long time, but her husband keeps working on it. She has some faults still, she inherited a Tesla from her brother and decided to keep it. But her husband is well entrenched and drives an F150 and a Jeep. Both honest vehicles. She has no relatives still beind the enemy lines.

I'm sure there are a lot of people in SF like that but the people who vote for a living outnumber them. That's the problem.

To listen to some of you guys talk, I'm not even sure why we have elections.

The truly funny part about it, is you can go to this thread....

https://sigforum.com/eve/forums...0601935/m/9570044383

.....and see many of the same people wringing their hands and telling us how Donald J has no road to 270.

Some of you guys just don't have any fight in you.

Sorry to say, it has nothing really to do with fighting, but all about mathematics, and a completely rigged system.

Pelosi won her seat last year taking 87% of the votes. In 2016, 85% of San Franciscans voted for Hillary and 9% for Trump. And so on. CA also has a "top two" voting system in primaries for Congress and state offices, essentially awarding two finalists to the general election, no matter the party. This was the reason why Kamala Harris ran against another Democrat in the Nov general election for the Senate in 2016.

And that’s two years ago.

Do you really think that when the left goes to try to flip a seat they are as spineless?

Or do you think they fight looking forward instead of behind?

I honestly think some people either like being miserable or they don’t know how to fight. The same rigged system, blah blah blah existed in Trumps victory. Hillary was going to win. As long as people are beat down telling themselves they will lose it is a self for filling prophecy.

You cannot compare a nationwide election for president to a campaign in California's 12th congressional district for a house seat. This is San Francisco. Pelosi won with 87%. Let that sink in.

The proper word to use in this situation is “naive”. Used in a sentence it would would like this. “It’s naive to think a Republican candidate could successfully challenge Pelosi in the 12th district”. However, there are conservative districts in other parts of California where money could be better spent. SF ain’t one of them.

You guys should just give up then. But it sounds like you already have.

If you ever wonder why we have weak republican leaders it’s because they represent weak republicans. Used in a sentence “those who seek to unseat McConnell are fighting the battle to win. Those who are seeking too unseat Pelosi have given up due to being weak”

I wish the left would roll over and give up so easy. But, they mean to win this country. You just don’t hear them whining about McConnells 87 percent of the vote last time. They are in it to win. You guys are not.

(Now spool up the hand wringers that will claim Mitch’s seat can be flipped. You know it’s coming. We can’t whimper and bleat without the fear and uncertainty. All the while kissing the ring of Queen Pelosi declaring her “safe” cuz da 87 percent vote)

It's a REALLY tough uphill fight. But you know what they say, "you can't win if you don't play." Not only that, I get a feeling Trump has a few aces up his sleeve to play against the Wicked Witch of the West if the timing is right.

Give up what? California is lost. I’m not from San Fransico and I don’t care if the place burns down or falls into the ocean. I just know politics is a game like poker. You have to know when you got a shot or when to minimize your losses. A GOP fight for 12th district is like me jumping into an MMA cage. It’s a stupid idea and a waste of resources. California conservatives should try to save their 7 Republican congressional districts and add to it where they have a fighting chance. That’s how politics and campaigning works.

You cannot compare Kentucky to California
You cannot compare McConnell to Pelosi
You cannot compare a 2 House cycle to a 6 year Senate cycle

McConnell won with around 56% compared to Peosi’s 87%. He has a fight on his hands. Her victory is a foregone conclusion.

I know. You're just not a fighter. At least we agree on something.

Queen Pelosi needs people like you. She needs you to keep telling everyone else that it is useless to resist. It is a waste of resources. Instead of actually fighting and making her life miserable.

Why make her work for it, or try to hold her accountable, huh? She is a queen after all.

As I pointed out, this is the very same mentality that you see in the Trump's an assclown thread. It is useless to resist.

I usually respect your opinion and often agree with you on many issues but you’ve just gone full retard on this. I’ll check up on your fighting skills when your pushing 66 and held together with hardware.

In the meantime, perhaps you can make a donation to DeAnna Lorraine. Money well-spent Roll Eyes

Yep, I’d much rather be a fighting “retard” as to be someone who gives up and enables wannabe tyrants.

Thank you for saying this. Even if she doesn’t win, a strong campaign and showing weakens the left.

Meanwhile, in the Virginia sanctuary thread, people are berating the GOP for not running candidates in every district, even the hopeless ones like in Loudon Co. You just can’t please some people.

Going out and voting for Ms. Lorraine just takes a little time. You aren't charging across no-man's land against massed machine guns or going up against a MMA fighter. I would never discourage anybody from voting. But it isn't realistic to think she can beat Pelosi. It just isn't. It's a forlorn hope, the same we had when holding our noses and voting for McCain and Romney. Now, what is realistic is flipping enough vulnerable Dem seats to retake the House, relegating Pelosi to, at most, minority leader. There is also a possibility that New York could lose a seat after the 2020 census and that seat might be AOC's. https://townhall.com/tipsheet/...-house-seat-n2558768 I'll take both or either of those.
