Normal CCW rules, FL Honors TX Permits.

No in Hospitals
No in government buildings
No at sporting events, concerts

concealed ok, open no

No firearms signs have no force of law other than you could be charged with trespass if you don't leave. Then again, since it's concealed nobody should know you have it anyway.

Not banned in all hospitals. Only forbidden in those hospitals that provide mental health services.

I am well aware of this, as my wife is a mental health care provider and she used to work in hospital.

Simple rule of thumb, stick it in your waistband, keep it well covered, and enjoy your time here in Ft Walton. Smile

Watch the traffic on I10 coming back at Vinton. We just returned and it ended up taking less time to go down thru Port Arthur rather than sitting thru 80 minutes of traffic delay for 12 miles of construction... Roll Eyes

That was BRUTAL. We ended up diverting through Stokes & Mauriceville.
14 hours, FWB to Spring TX.
GPS indicated 8.5, but with a 10 mo old, it took 10.5 out there & 14 back due to the full standstill in Vinton. Car in P & sat for 10-15 min at a time.

FWB was nice, we had a condo/apt on the strip near the island Bridge.
Traffic is pretty heavy in there & worse in Destin, but we enjoyed it.

We hit the public beach access a few days & got plenty of sun.
Did the boardwalk & Gulfarium.
Went into Destin & did a speedboat dolphin cruise, those guys were a blast.

The F-35(?) alarm clock was pretty cool too. Lots of flyovers & a couple Ospreys, 4 prop cargo planes & a Chinook. Made the beach time great, too.

Just the brutal drive was the only real downer.
